Action by Sudara
With grand political changes imminent and both visible threats and portentous visions to drive her on, Sudara proceeeds with the next wave of development on Esterhold - though now with a particular focus upon developing the domain's food production. She wants to be able to significantly bolster her domain's military forces, and she thinks it's vital that she can actually feed new recruits to her army or navy. As before, she works in direct alignment with the castle-improvement starting at the same time, and she steps up the scale of her investment in the economy and living conditions of her domain to mirror the one being made in stone fortifications. She gladly passes on what she's learned (some of it rather recently!) and what the sages have to teach about communal productivity and prosperity, aided by the growing body of trained and experienced Truesworn (and migrants) available to teach others. Her hope is to bring people together for both the common good and their own individual benefit. Better employment, more wealth, stronger bonds of community: all under the protection of their improved defences. If her own people, Belladonna's recruitment drive, or Jyri's on-going charitable efforts locate refugees keen to resettle on Esterhold, then this can also serve as a grand way to integrate them and guarantee they can support themselves in their new home.

An army marches on its stomach. And a big army (and fleet) has a big stomach. So, the increase of agriculture on Esterhold is imperative to the goal of a larger military. The Truesworn warriors will contribute by protecting farmers, establishing defensive walls around farms, and contributing to the work of farming itself. A Truesworn warrior is one with their community, not separate to it.
Result
With the upcoming turbulence of the Pravus-Lyceum split, it is a wise ruler who looks to the future of her lands and people. Wanting to recruit more soldiers is one thing, being prepared to feed them is another. Sudara’s wisdom in not putting the cart before the horse, and increasing food production prior to gaining new mouths to feed serves her, and Esterhold well. New farms are cut, more crops are planted and several new mills are constructed.
