Action by Sudara
With praise still ringing in her ears (albeit mostly for Tenebrae's wonderful work on the defences!), Sudara proceeeds with the next wave of development on Esterhold. As before, she works in direct alignment with the castle-improvement starting at the same time, and she steps up the scale of her investment in the economy and living conditions of her domain to mirror the one being made in stone fortifications. In particular, she is passing on what she's learned and what the sages have to teach about communal productivity and prosperity, aided by the growing body of trained and experienced Truesworn (and migrants) available to teach others. The intent is to bring people together for both the common good and their own individual benefit. Better employment, more wealth, stronger bonds of community: all under the protection of their improved defences. If her own people, Belladonna's recruitment drive, or Jyri's on-going charitable efforts locate refugees keen to resettle on Esterhold, then this can also serve as a grand way to integrate them and guarantee they can support themselves in their new home.
Action by Tenebrae
In what is becoming a rather well-practiced operation, Tenebrae does her best to tie her castle-building efforts into the work on Esterhold's economic and agricultural base. Making use of local labour and supplies, settling additional workers (especially prodigal refugees), and motivating the whole workforce, she provides all the support she can to Sudara's "civil" works alongside her own military endeavours.
Result
Esterhold's economy is becoming significantly stronger than near any other barony in the Compact, with the small island showing more and more development across its isle. The incomes for the Truesworn increase significantly.
