Action by Reese
Reese will make patrols, using her units composed of her personal military resources. She will focus her patrols in the Gray Forest. She will focus on trying to encourage any Shavs she runs into joining the Grayson and taking shelter at Samantha's home. She will try to avoid fighting the Shavs if possible. If she sees a bringer, she will probably try to get reinforcements from her family, The Ministry of Defense or from the Valerous Few and then come back to fight it with others. She is certainly looking for signs of exactly where the Bringers are. She would like to fight while along side of the Compacts warriors if possible. (ooc: Would love a staff ran combat scene if possible. I realized it might not be).

Crisotoph said she can join his van in the upcoming battle. She plans to do that.
Result
Reese winds up spending quite a bit of time in the field. She does find shavs near Old Oak, and while none of the Abandoned are willing to take up arms against the Bringers, they greatly appreciate the offer to find safe haven among House Deepwood- it's a dangerous offer, technically sheltering Abandon who refuse to bend the knee and become prodigals could become treasonous, but some would argue by them honoring guest right at Old Oak they already are bending the knee more or less, so it's a fine line. Reese and Samantha's kindness is, however, very noted.
Further scouting does reveal that a column of 18,000 shavs are headed west to Pridehall, and Reese helps harass the foraging parties that are helping sustain that large of a force. It impedes the shavs movements and helps set the stage for the Battle of Pridehall.
There in battle, Reese shines. Seeing a princess of House Grayson bolsters the morale of the House Grayson armsmen taking the center of the battle, the young woman standing amidst the central line. As the Oathlands cavalry makes it charge, it seems like the enemy horde knows that if they shatter the point that Reese is at, they Grayson lines will roll up, and they'll be able to butcher the Compact forces. Princess Reese thus is facing some of the most ferocious combat of the Battle. (See the crisis update for the general details)
The shavs lay fiercely into the Grayson lines, and men around her start to fall, with panic spreading among the lines. Reese can feel the panic, and know the lines are near breaking, and as men around her were backing away and shavs are starting to surge forward... it just feels as if something deep inside of her clicks into place, and she knows that if she takes a step back then the entire line may be rolled up, and thousands will die. And so, she charges.
It is one of those moves that would have every Grayson family member aghast at her for doing something near suicidal, but it made perfect sense at the time. The shavs leading their own charge were suddenly shocked by the young, talented swordswoman taking the fight to them, and a cry goes up from the Grayson line, and they surge behind her, following Reese's lead.
It probably lasted but minutes, but felt like hours, as the fervor of battle shifted to other parts of the field, and the Valardin cavalry reached her lines. And far after the battle, Grayson soldiers would not stop praising her.
It was a little embarrassing, truthfully.
