Baroness Skye Blackshore continues to foster industry on Blackshore Isle by sponsoring the ship building yard that is built in this emerging port town that is starting to surround New Hope. The additional investments in the port continues to attract newcomers who are looking for opportunities.
Action by Iseulet
Iseulet lends herself to Skye's project by attempting to wheel n deal. If there's a haggle to be made, she will haggle! She wants to keep the prices as cheap as possible for Blackshore as well as keep the supply lines open for them, ensuring that the cafters on the isle have their supplies coming in for the new Keep at the same time the supplies for the new dock arrive. Where natural resources can be used cheaper instead of importing them, she arranges that too!
Result
Baroness Skye Blackshore announces the creation of a new shipyard at New Hope. Large and spacious, this will serve as drydocks for repairs and for newly built ships, and is the foundation of what she hopes to be a revitalized economy. With the help of Lady Iseulet, the shipyard comes in well under budget, and soon those who stop for a quick refitting or repair at New Hope bring tales of streamlined facilities, new and beautiful and staffed by extremely skilled craftsmen. It's a promising start to this new venture.
