Background: Orphaned at a young age, Calvert Aurum spent his formative years under the watchful eye of his Uncle, the Archscholar Aldwin. He quickly found a strong aptitude with both books, and foreign tongues - not a commonly used skill within Arx... But that is what appealed to him. Raised to the rank of Scholar at the age of 18, he has pursed his interests to a degree that legitimately allow him to be called the best linguist in Arx - for what THAT is worth.
