Action by Alis

Alis and Derovai, at the request of Edain, would like to question the two dozen captured Iron Guards before turning them over. Questions about: 1) What these White Stewards are/stand for. 2) When Everard turned 3) How his behavior changed and how/when he tried to recruit others to his cause. 4) How he arranged the outing that ultimately resulted in the deaths of the King's Retinue and the curse placed on the King, 5)Where Everard and any remaining guards may have tried to run off to if they survived.

Result

The explanation behind the vast majority of the iron guards is, "I just work here, he paid pretty well." And they had never heard of the White Stewards before. Everard talked to the officers a great deal though, and he had been paying the common iron guards well- too well in fact, and had definitely bought their loyalty that showed at the confrontation with Dawn. The plain truth is that it was never necessary for Everard to change the majority of Iron Guard to the White Stewards, or even more than a handful- the guard was going to follow its Lord Commander. Everard had contact with a great many high nobles at court, like Addison Ashford and visited the palace all the time before the King's Rest. Then abruptly stopped. As for where they were traveling, it sounded like the officers were saying to ride for the Northeast of Arx... which is the direction of the Night Grove. (clue added)
