Esera told Isolde about the hiding places for the earrings and the note, so she'll secure those items to get them to a location that someone ambitious might not look for. Looking for possible clues to be left, specifically in the garden, or those hidden spots.
Result
Isolde finds the earrings, untouched and unharmed, and takes them for safekeeping. There are no clues where the earrings were hidden, and none in the garden. But it feels good to have those earrings. Comforting. She feels a fierce need to keep them.
