Description: Ulfric is a weathered man and he chooses to wear that on his sleeve. His face is pale but still retaining some bygone memories of his youth, his steely blue eyes and deep red hair complimenting one another if you were to look upon him for enjoyment. More often than not he wears his expression with a welcoming smile, presenting himself as a jolly sort if having a tad intimidating exterior about him. His beard is well kept, stretching over his chin and then some, ending in two separate braids at either side of his jaw. His body is broad and tall, carrying with it several scars of battles past and the toll they had left. He is usually clad in an assortment of modest clothes made of wool, nicely fitted leathers overtop and the furs of nature's creatures around his shoulders for warmth.
Personality: Surprisingly well-spoken for his line of profession and his upbringing. While unafraid to speak his mind, he tends to pick his words with care, after seeing how often Isles men get themselves killed in foolish, avoidable conflicts. Often times considered a dreamer, most definitely an ambitious sort. But despite being more thoughtful than most reavers, he's confident and decisive. He's often the first to jump and hit the ground running at that, though perhaps one of the few to ask if it's a wise course.
Background: Born to a family of meager legacy, Ulfric was raised on a commoner's farm owned by his father. His progenitor was a strong man, newly retired after decades of military service, but he was not a decent man. Often unsupervised and ignored, Ulfric grew up in rags and earning his meals on fishing vessels that came and went from his little village. The boy had come to know many men during that time whom he would call father, men who taught him how to live proper and fend for one's own pride. Lessons were taught throughout his childhood and adolescence through experiencing them firsthand, soon growing into his own man for the day he'd finally step away from home. But he was not content with simply surviving day by day, not if it meant there would be nothing sweeter to find at the end of every trial and punishment. As soon as he was able, he took to the seas under a noble's banner. Stricken to forge his own prestiege, one that he could pass on to a kin of his own with pride. He has long been content with earning his keep through the swing of his swordarm.
