Description: Bearing of all the hallmarks that leads one to identify him as noble stock, Castinus is possessed a visage impeccably groomed and meticulously fashioned to impart lasting memory. imperious and perhaps intimidating at first glance, with a crowning of well-kempt black hair, and a striking set of eyes that stand out against the pallor hue of his skin. Vivid and impossibly blue, they can just as easy be beady with skepticism as they can be wide with some unabashed intrigue or curiosity. Swaddled by infinitely dour and grim stygian fabrics is a tall and capable frame. Rare it is, however, that he affords an onlooker much visible flesh, save for his face.
Personality: Fashioning himself a consummate gentleman, Castinus presents himself on the surface as a gentleman, to a fault. Courtesy and respect, perhaps in excess, belies a certain predatory cunning that exists within the ice of his eyes. Everything that he does seems to come with a practiced ease, and comfortability in ones own skin. Well-spoken and eloquent, there's still much of Castinus that he guards fiercely behind so very many honeyed words or cordial gestures. Above all, he holds those with a mind as inquisitive as his own in the highest regard. Individuals that enjoy digging deeper beyond simply shallow interests, and those that seek answers even when they aren't presented with questions first.
Background: Recently arrived in New Hope flying the heraldry of Blackshore, much of Castinus' history is as much of an enigma as the man himself. From what little that has been let slip, his intentions are to reconnect with lost family members whom he himself as been out of contact with for a great deal of time, to beseech aid or perhaps offer it himself.
Name | Summary |
Cornelius | From the shores of Wake's End, a rather old and storied holding of the Isles and Blackshore the same. Father spoke seldom of his family from Wake's End but now, when he has since gone, I am now meeting those that remain. He is a rather traditional man, such so that he...reminds me of a younger visage of myself. I do not know if that is a good thing or not, but perhaps he shall bear fangs and join my children in bringing Blackshore to glory. He joins vaunted company. |
Scylla | Lord Castinus seems capable of fanning the tiniest spark into an all-consuming inferno, all the while expending next to none of his own energy to see it done. Whether this is a vice or a virtue I've yet to determine. |
