The weak live in a cruel world. The strong choose to create their own.
Social Rank: 9
Concept: Queen "B" for Boroughs
Marital Status: married
Height: average height
Hair Color: blood red
Eye Color: jewel green
Description: She is fierce, and fiercely beautiful, with impossibly red hair and jewel bright eyes. A scar cuts an arc through one of those shocking green eyes, less bright because of it. Milky, almost. Pale against already pale skin, that long, fine scar begins at her brow, ends at the curve of her cheek. Her figure is force and fury, long lines and tightly drawn muscle. She stands tall, unbent: a Queen of the Boroughs.
Personality: Shade Ulbran has never been kind, generous or indulgent. What she lacks in a gentle touch, she has instead made up for with an iron will, a fighter's will, forged by the hardships and the trials of her life. She is clever and dangerous, but the necessities and responsibilities of Boroughs leadership have since tempered the wild cruelties of youth (and she enjoyed more than her fair share of wild cruelties, to be certain). She is lovely by one turn, deadly by another. She is stubborn and commanding; she has a dark sense of humor and she is much too blunt with her words. But dark humor and blunt words cannot hide her love for the Lower Boroughs, and though she is no saint, she is nevertheless a fierce protector to her people -- and her interests.
Background: Everyone in the Lower Boroughs has a sob story, and Shade's sob story is not much more interesting than the rest. Anyway, no one wants to hear it. No one cares about who Shade Ulbran was -- they care about who she is now, because who she is now is Power. Authority. Protection. She rules her little corner of the Lower Boroughs like a queen, sovereign and strong. She protects and serves her people, like any queen should. Is mighty and beautiful, as queens are. Yet, if she is a queen, she is a queen who has carved out her empire upon the blade of a knife. She fought for her throne, she killed for it; she will fight and kill to keep it.
