Ramona - A Farshaw House Guard arrives, following Lisebet.

River, a juvenile Oakhaven bloodhound, 3 Tyde Houseguard arrive, following Amari.

For tonight's event, the Solarium has been conscripted, leaving the outer room available for regular customers. Inside the solarium tonight, a buffet has been set up with finger foods, small pastries and coffee samples. There are also servers roaming for those who wish to order from the menu.

Should folks come in the main entrance, the staff will direct them this way.

Lisebet is wearing a lovely spring inspired outfit, leaving off jewellery so that her own beauty and that of the seasilk shines. She is standing in the Solarium at the moment, Ryhalt beside her, looking a little bit pensive. She gives her big brother a smile and says, "Here's hoping that we can help out our people a lot, with this endeavour. It's time to start." And so she moves to open the doors, letting whoever is ready come on in.

Aahana gracefully saunters into the Solarium and offers Lisebet a bright, warm smile as she says "Lady Lisebet! You look amazing in your new outfit. I need to inquire as to whom your tailor is. Also is smells absolutely divine in here. Though I may be bias since I adore coffee soo much."

Lethe takes a look around and then decides to try one of the coffee samples. "It can be so hard to decide what to order, but this is very good."

Following the scent of coffee, even though there are many other delicious scents to tease the senses, Kalani moves through the doors into the salon in the wake of Aahana and Lethe. "Lady Lisebet, Lord Ryhalt," she greets both with a smile paired with a amiable nod, tipping a curious look toward Lisebet's attire and away from the coffee for just a moment. "I love your slippers," she decides - on the spot - to find out who Lisebet's tailor is as well.

Ryhalt is overheard praising Lisebet.

Fecundo steps infrom the main room, stopping to draw in the scent of the place and smiling a little. He nods to Lisebet, "Lady Farshaw...it hs been a little while. Good to see you again." He nods to Ahhahan as well with a smile, "Lady Volkhov...it has also been a long time since I saw you." He smiles and then looks about at the others who arrive.

Palamon, a supercilious eagle owl have been dismissed.

Amari arrives, after politely waving off staff's help as she clearly knows where she's going. When she's in the solarium proper she pauses a moment to look around, then glides in after Lethe. "Lady Lisebet." She greets the host first with a small smile and dip of her head. "You are looking amazing, I'd have to agree with Lady Aahana." The Duke beside her is given a repeat of the smile and respectful little bow. "Duke Farshaw." As Lethe goes for coffee samples, she wiggles her fingers after her.

Gerard enters quietly, arrayed as he usually is in his knightly attire, but with a smile upon his face and a curious expression surrounding it. He peers over the coffee, then at the hosts and guests, bowing slightly at the waist. "Well met, well met. Lady Farshaw invited me, figured I would see what all the fuss was about?"

Lisebet chuckles softly, amused at the interest in her tailor. "I have several items that were designed by a mystery designer," she admits to those listening. "So I am honestly not sure if I can tell you." A brief pause, and then, "Lady Aahana, welcome. You look lovely as always, and it is good to see you here. The coffee does smell wonderful this evening, I am in agreement. I think the staff has gone out of their way to assist us." She smiles over at Lethe. "Do try several, and see if there is something that appeals. Then you'll know what to order next time you come." She inclines her head to Kalani, eyes brightening. "Thank you!"

Lethe nods with a smile to Lisebet. "I will. Thank you." She tastes one of the other samples and gives a wave to Amari. "Hello Amari!"

Ryhalt has his charming smile upon his features and he greets the guests as they come in. He is doing his best not to be in the forefront as the event is his sister's and he does not with to eclipse her shine at all. He is eyeing the dessert tray with a look near akin to ravenous, as if he is counting foen the seconds till its devouring death.

Ryhalt is overheard praising Farshaw.

"Who, in their right mind, turns down the option to sample different flavors of coffee?" Kalani wonders with a grin to Lisebet as she wanders over to the buffet table to do precisely that. Three small, almost shot glass sized amounts, of coffee are balanced on a plate and a couple of interesting looking pastries join the sampling before she moves out of the way. Ahh, coffee; the sovereign remedy.

Lisebet smiles, turning her attention next to Fecundo. "M'lord Rubino, good to see you again as well. Welcome to Bold Espressions. What have you been up to?" She smiles to Amari, offering, "Lady Amari, we have to catch up soon. I have missed chatting with you. And Sir Gerard, welcome! I am glad you came." She pauses and then says, "Has everyone met my brother, Duke Farshaw?" Sorry Ryhalt! You at least get a few minutes to shine. "I would like to announce that this event is sponsored by House Farshaw and that any proceeds of sales tonight, as every night, will be going to our people of Westrock Reach to improve things for them."

There is a small band over to one side, getting ready to play some soft music.

Lisebet chuckles and shrugs delicately. "Not me," she agrees with Kalani.

Fecundo offers Lisebet a smile, "Not too much, Lady Farshaw....just things with the Champions and family....still learning about the city even after this short time." He steps aside to look at the drink choices and finger foods, not seeming to want to crowd the hostess.

Lisebet is overheard praising Farshaw: I'm biased but three cheers for helping out the people!

"We absolutely do." Amari agrees with Lisebet then sneaks off to see what Lethe is doing as the announcement is made. She joins her at the coffee, eyes narrowing as she has decisions to make. Eventually. After she greets Kalani. "Lady Kalani! Hello." Then, right, she picks the blend she wishes to sample and has a dainty sip, and has a quiet aside to her future sister-in-law, "Where should we sit?"

Lethe has joined the Small Table and Chairs.

"Lady Amari, wonderful to see you again," Kalani replies as she balances the plate on one hand, sampling one of the coffee flavors as she looks around the room and back. "Those are lovely hair pins, and the pin as well," she gestures with the coffee cup as she speaks. Mercifully, the cup isn't at all full.

Archeron enters the solarium, the lanky Thrax taking a glance at the nobles present. Spying his intended, and his twin, Archeron gently coughs - so as not to be sneaky - and heads towards the pair "Amari. Lethe. I thought I would crash the coffee gathering for a little bit, and make sure you are not causing trouble."

Lethe chooses one more sample and looks for a good seat. She moves to a table with some chairs. "How about here?" She turns to Archeron. "Hi Archeron. Are you here to cause the trouble yourself?"

Lisebet offers a smile to Archeron. "My Lord, welcome," she greets him easily. "I am quite sure that Ladies Amari and Lethe would never cause trouble. At least not without me."

Ryhalt stays next to his sister as long as he can, then he gives into temptation and makes straight for the table with the desserts. He has some decourm. Well a tiny bit. He does not eat the whole tray, but butterrum tarts are the first to die...

Ryhalt is overheard praising Alban.

Kalani is overheard praising Farshaw: A wonderful event with proceeds donated to a worthy cause.

Amari moves to the table Lethe picks with a cheerful smile for Kalani on the way, and a beckon to invite her along if she's looking for a place to sit as well. "Thank you. Have you been climbing?" She asks with a flash of a grin before there's an Archeron and she has to greet him in return, "What a surprise! Have you met the hosts, Duke Ryhalt Farshaw and Lady Lisebet Farshaw?" To the pair she presents the man with a sweep of her arm as if he's a prize just revealed from behind a choice of doors. "Lord Archeron Tyde."

"Not the tower, not as of yet," Kalani replies as she takes a seat at the small table as well and aims a smile at Lethe as she sets her plate down. "That one I've promised to wait until we're better organized. But there are a number of structures around the city that are of smaller challenge."

Kalani has joined the Small Table and Chairs.

Archeron flashes a little grin at his twin "Oh, Lethe. I never cause trouble. Just other people. I am, as ever, the voice of calm reason. Anyway, Grimhall doesn't seem to be present, so whose nose would I tweak?" Archeron leans across to try and plant a kiss on Amari's cheek as he gets close to the gaggle "And hello my dear. I hope you have not had too much fun without me. And no. I've not had the pleasure." Archeron offers a bow of his head to Ryhalt and Lisebet "Duke Ryhalt. Lady Lisebet. A pleasure. As my intended says, Lord Archeron Tyde. I am most pleased to make your acquaintance."

Archeron has joined the Small Table and Chairs.

Amari has joined the Small Table and Chairs.

Lisebet smiles at the introduction made by Amari. "A pleasure, Lord Acheron," she says easily. "And welcome to Bold Espressions. I am always glad to meet new people, especially those related to my friends, and I do very much count Lady Amari as a friend, among others here tonight." She glances around to see how everyone is doing, checking on Fecundo briefly. Her attention then turns to Lethe. "Climbing? That sounds somewhat dangerous."

Ryalt does stand for Archeron, and miracles upon miracles there is no mince-meat tart filling upon his chest. How given the small swath of death about the mince tarts is a feat. His charming smile is in place and he inclines his head so to the Tyde noble. "Be welcome Lord Archeron, my sister can put on a splendid event and I an looking forward to witnessing it."

Lethe looks to Lisebet with a smile. "Climbing can be dangerous, but it can be fun too. I'm already really enjoying the event. The samples were very good."

"The nice thing about climbing is that you, quite literally, start small. Everything you need to know about climbing is all repetition and never going to the next level until you have the previous one mastered. Free climbing is different, and it's on brand of insanity," Kalani explains even as she tips a nod toward Lisebet. "It is, dangerous, that is. But so is crossing the street and picking the wrong dance partner. But just a wee bit more fun when done right."

"We made sure to do all the fun stuff before you got here." Amari tells Archeron very seriously after she stands still for the kiss, brief as it is, "Except climbing, that's still a possibility, but nothing too high... or I suppose it depends how much coffee we end up drinking." That's clearly the deciding factor on that one. Lethe's comment has her glance off towards the door, brow faintly arched but as it lowers, she settles into an empty chair at the small table.

Lisebet considers the topic of climbing and then inclines her head. "Seems like something I should avoid then, though I will not stop dancing regardless of that danger," she puts in. Ryhalt gets a smile for his support of course, or maybe it's just Lisebet planning to tell Clover on him, so he has to run more early mornings, what with wolfing down all those tarts.

The musicians finish tuning up and then start to play, lightly as background ambiance for the moment.

Laughing, Kalani lifts the second of the small cups of coffee she's sampling and grins at Amari. "Bad decisions sponsored by Caffeine." She sips anyway before nodding to Lisebet, "It's a hobby, or maybe a thrill addiction. Possibly a combination of both. That aside, you mentioned that the proceeds fo sales tonight will be going to your people of Westrock Reach. What is it that is needed most right now?"

"Well. That was very considerate of you, my love. I won't be dithering though, I just wanted to pop along and say my hellos and make sure you two were well." And Archeron gives his sister a little look - as if he is not trusting her current state of not-causing-chaos. Because Brothers always judge their siblings "But, this does look like a most entertaining coffee group."

Lethe grins as she looks at Archeron. "I suppose I'll see you later then. Perhaps we can have coffee another time." She smiles and gives him a little wave.

"Perhaps if we add a little rum..." Amari posits, but that might not reduce the possibility of coffee induced climbing at all. With Archeron already set to depart, she pops back up and gives him a chaste kiss on the cheek, unless he dodges. "No dithering? Well, I'm disappointed. Thank you for stopping in, at least. It's nice to introduce you around so nobody thinks I'm imagining your existence." She teases, before making a more serious suggestion, "Lethe and I will try some blends and bring the best home for you."

Lisebet inclines her head to Acheron. "Do please come back at any time," she offers lightly. "And again, a pleasure to meet you. I look forward to future meetings." She smiles at Kalani. "A hobby that may be of use, I suppose, so that is a good thing. And it is always interesting when everyone has a variety of hobbies. It keeps conversations lively. As for what our people need, there are as always a variety of things, from housing repairs, building a new school, and even looking towards a healer's house, for those who are ill. Over time, the idea is to ensure that everyone has easier access to education and a decent living."

"As ever, I am saved from a life of dullness by the two shining ladies in my life. Though remember to only cause a little bit of trouble. Though, hrm. You rae still a Keaton so technically I suppose trouble is more their problem than ours..." Archeron muses, grinning before he bows his head to the Duke and to Lisebet "I am sorry I could not stay, but I wished to pop my head in. And I wish you all the best and many successes for your efforts. I am, very much, real. Just so Lady Amari can prove that."

Lisebet is overheard praising Archeron: for a lovely visit, but too short!

"I see," Kalani replies as she leans back, slightly, against the chair back and listens with an expression of intense interest. She glances up at Archeron as he voices his regret and intention to take his leave, holding quiet for a moment as she considers what resources she may be able to assist with.

Ramona - A Farshaw House Guard leaves, following Lisebet.

Ramona - A Farshaw House Guard arrives, following Lisebet.

Letatria have been dismissed.

When Archeron is on his way, Amari returns to her seat and tries to catch up on the rest of the discussion. It might take a moment, so rather than jump back in a bit blind, she listens and tries a bit more of her coffee.

Fecundo is overheard praising Lisebet.

Ryhalt is busy enjoying desserts, quietly in the background. Lisebet is front and center, being the social butterfly she is. A band is playing soft ambiance music, and there are samples of coffee and desserts, House Farshaw having sponsored this little Soiree. "I do have a prize, should we do some sort of draw or a game?" she asks.

And there are servers for folks who would like to order off the regular menu, wandering through and taking orders.

Gregori arrives looking for Lisebet when he spots her he makes his way to her. "Lady Lisebet you're quite the stunning visage as always but today I feel that something is adding to the great beauty and warmth that radiates off of you." He says with a bow and a smile holding out his hand palm up.

Slipping from the table for a moment, Kalani acquires a second cup of the sample she'd just enjoyed and returns with a plate of desserts that she sets in the middle of the table to more easily share.

Amari spends a few moments listening to music and watching the performers, clearly enjoying it even if she's looking terribly unfocused. Lisebet's question draws her back around, as does Gregori's entrance. She offers the latter a polite nod of recognition, "Hello, Lord Volkov." Then with a thoughtful intake of breath, she says, "I think we'd enjoy a game? Did you have one in mind?" There's a look to Kalani and Lethe to see if they're feeling the game idea too.

Lethe nods as she looks from Amari to Ryhalt. "I suppose that a game could be fun."

"I like games. As I said," and Kalani grins as she nods a cordial greeting to Gregori, "bad decisions sponsored by caffeine. As long as it's not a sing off. My attempts at singing have been outlawed nearly universally across the known land."

If there's a rumbutter tart on the tray Kalani's brought back, Amari steals it and has a bite to cleanse her palette for the next sample of coffee. That or she just wanted a tart. "That's at least three willing participants then, provided there's no singing and probably no archery either. Oh, and no eating contests." Slow shake of her head on that last one, and a vaguely haunted expression. Clearly the Keaton had a bad time at one of those.

Lisebet chuckles softly, pausing though as Gregori enters. "Lord Volkov," she greets him with a warm smile. "Welcome to our little event and thank you for the compliment." Her cheeks might be just the slightest bit pink. "Please have some treats and some coffee. The rum butter tarts are delectable today." That said, she considers for a moment. "Perhaps something to do with riddles? or I know, there's a category game, that might work. It's not difficult to play - I can select a category and then everyone playing can take turns naming something in that category. And if someone can't name something, says something that is judged wrong, or takes too long (about 5 seconds) then they are out, and we can perhaps start a new categoy. What do you all think? Would that work?"

Gregori smiles at Lisebet. "Youre quite welcome M'Lady." He says with a bow. "I'm always happy for an excuse to spend time with you." Looking to Amari. "A p..pleasure to see you again." He says with a bow to her before returning Kalanis nod and leaning back watching the rest.

"That sounds like a fun and potentially hilarious sort of round-robin game," Kalani agrees as she sets aside the cup of coffee she's been enjoying and selects one of the desserts from the plate to slide onto her own. Lemon!

Lethe nods as she look to Lisebet. "I'm willing to give it a try." She looks to Gregori and smile. "Hello."

"The categories one sounds entertaining, definitely." Amari decides just as her tart begins to fold up on itself in her fingers. She eeps and does what she can to avoid a small catastrophe.

"Lord Gregori, would you like to participate?" Lisebet asks. "You are welcome to try, if you wish.

Gregori shakes his head a bit at that. "I'd be more than happy to just watch." He says smiling at Lisebet.

Lisebet inclines her head to Gregori, and smiles to the ladies. "Very well then. Suppose we start with an easy one. The category is animals. It matters not really who goes first, but once we start, please keep the same order."

"Is this a 'name an animal in alphabetical order' sort of game or just randomly yell out a animal name and go with the flow?" Kalani wonders with a grin.

Archeron has left the Small Table and Chairs.

"You should have a tart while you watch, they're very good." Amari suggests to Gregori, even if hers fell apart a little... a lot. She salvages it by stacking the two halves in the palm of her hand, and as she does, yells, "SEAGULL!" That's her animal, apparently.

Lethe tilts her head. "So we just call out an animal? Uh cat."

Aiming a sidelong look at Amari, and laughing, "Fox," Kalani grins as she antes up her animal of choice.

"I like the alphabetical order, but I didn't think of that. Let's just go randomly," Lisebet says. "And quickly now."

Kalani checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 16 higher.

Amari checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 4 higher.

Lethe checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 7 higher.

"SNAIL!" Amari calls out, keeping to a vaguely aquatic theme.

Kalani says, "Ocelot," Kalani chimes in almost immediately."

Lethe says, "horse"

Amari checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 1 higher.

Lethe checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 2 lower.

Kalani checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 3 lower.

Amari almost begins to laugh at Lethe's horse for some reason, but holds it together long enough to call out the next animal, "NARWHAL!"

"Zebra," Kalani shrugs, because, you know, striped horses!

Lethe tilts her head. "Uh fish."

Laughing as she doesn't respond fast enough, Kalani reaches for her fork and dives into that lemon dessert waiting on her plate.

Amari checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 1 lower.

Lethe checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 6 lower.

Lisebet chuckles. "some interesting animals you picked there," she observes. "Alright, time for the next category. "Kalani, would you like to choose one?"

Amari is just going to keep yelling animals until someone stops her, she's having fun, even if this next one takes a bit of thought, "SHARK!"

Lisebet chuckles. "some interesting animals you picked there," she observes. "Alright, time for the next category. "Kalani, would you like to choose one?"

Kalani lifts her fork slightly and grins, "Dessert food names," she waves the fork, "go!"

Amari got ahead of herself, and oopses softly before waiting for the category change from Kalani. Dessert yelling time! "PUMPKIN PIE!"

Lethe struggles to think of an answer. "Cherry tart."

Amari checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 7 higher.

Lethe checked wits at difficulty 15, rolling 3 lower.

"CUSTARD!" Amari chimes in the alotted time before looking to Lethe, not to jinx her or anything, but she is grinning like crazy at her.

Lethe gets flustered and can't think of an answer.

Laughing her way through the round, Kalani has to chase the lemon dessert with a sip of coffee just to try to settle down.

Lisebet has to laugh, shaking her head. "That was amusing. I think this means the prize goes to Lady Amari." She brings out a concealable blade, a pretty one, and hands it over. "I hope you can find something to do with this," she adds, with a grin. "Cognratulations."

Lisebet is overheard praising Amari: for quick witted speed and knowing her animals and desserts!

Lethe looks at the blade as Amari is given the prize. "That is pretty. Congratulations Amari."

Kalani is overheard praising Lethe: Absolutely fun to participate in a challenge with!

Lisebet is overheard praising Kalani: Awesomely good sport

Kalani is overheard praising Amari: Quick thinking, equally fun, and absolute winner of the name-that-something in the topic challenge.

Lisebet is overheard praising Lethe: Wonderful participant in the fun games!

Lisebet is overheard praising Farshaw.

"Candied eel?" Amari ventures, but the game is won with Lethe not being able to name another treat. She reaches over to pat her arm reassuringly, laughing softly all the while. She doesn't even seem to realize she's won until Lisebet says as much, at which point she smiles brightly and sets her crumbled tart on a plate so she can accept the blade carefully with both hands. "Oh, thank you so much. That is very pretty, Lady Lisebet." She bows her head to the other competitors, and compliments them as well, "Well fought."

Gregori snaps back from a deep thought and smiles and claps. "Good game all." He looks around again. Gregori turns back to Lisebet. "Well you sure know how to throw a little party M'Lady I'm glad I could be here to be sure."

"Candied eel sounds like a threat, not a dessert," Kalani says this with a grin as the game winds down. "But, then, fish eggs are a delicacy to some and fish bait to others, it's all about context. This was fun, Lady Lisebet, and it was equally fun to compete with you both," she shares a nod with Lethe and Amari.

"I think so too, candied eel? I might have had to judge that one not a dessert," Lisebet teases. "Well played all of you." She smiles at Gregori, tilting her head a bit. "You are always welcome to join us," she says lightly. "Except maybe if it is the skirt and gown event."

Lethe grins as she looks to Lisebet. "That was a fun game." She looks to Amari and Kalani. "It was fun competing with both of you. I think I should be going, but I am glad I came."

Lisebet is overheard praising Farshaw.

Holt arrives, following Nico.

Gregori laughs and looks to Lisebet with a wink and a smile. "You saying I wouldnt look good in a skirt?" He asks in a good natured jest. "I understand why I wouldnt be able to attend that event though. And as I said Any excuse to be with you for an evening you on my arm, or just hanging out here Ill take it."

Lethe has left the Small Table and Chairs.

3 Tyde Houseguard leaves, following Lethe.

Holt leaves, following Nico.

Lisebet takes a moment to catch her breath. "I was thinking you wouldn't want to wear a skirt, more likely, Lord Gregori, but if it works for you, by all means." She then moves to say, "Thank you everyone for coming. It has been an honour to host on behalf of House Farshaw and Bold Espressions. You are all welcome to stick around and enjoy the rest of the evening, but the formal part of tonight's coffee club is officially finished. Thank you!"

"Let's see some leg and we'll judge." Amari teases the Volkov lord, but she has a dessert to defend as well, "It's truly a thing, unless that sailor lied to me. Actually, he may have been lying." Darn shifty sailors. "It's probably not a thing they eat, even on Tyde Isle." She can't ask Lethe either, only wave after her as she departs. She does so with a soft sigh before looking back to Kalani and Lisebet, "I should probably escort her home. I hope to see you both at Skirt and Gown night, though there might be a scheduling thing. We'll definitely have it soon though. Thanks again, Lady Lisebet. You always do such a wonderful job of hosting these things. Lady Kalani, lovely to see you again. Lord Gregori."

"I'll absolutely be there," Kalani replies even as she chases the last bite of dessert around her plate then uses the napkin in her lap to brush off the crumbs. "This was wonderful and I look forward to attending the next one if you host another," she adds as she rises to her feet and sets her napkin on the edge of the table. "It was nice meeting you and your brother, and yourself as well," she tips a nod to Gregori before she waves and heads for the doors.

Kalani has left the Small Table and Chairs.

Amari has left the Small Table and Chairs.

River, a juvenile Oakhaven bloodhound, 3 Tyde Houseguard leave, following Amari.
