The Salon

Lady Juliet Fidante is proud to declare that the Arvum Philosophical Society for the Empowerment and Enlightenment of Curious Mind is now accepting new members.
The Arvum Soc - the Salon is intended to be a forum for spirited debate and interested people of all ranks and stations across the Compact (and beyond?) to join in and exchange ideas and knowledge with the goal of improving the lives of everyone in Arvum. Both formal debates and events and informal gatherings will be made for this purpose.
To further distinguish the Arvum Phi- the Salon from other, well, salons of the idle rich, the Salon will go out of its way to recruit Experts that can give talks and dissertations on their specialised field, to - as the title of the Salon says - enlighten curious minds. The Salon will serve to put highly skilled individuals in contact with potential proteges, so that members may better themselves while working to find solutions to Arvum's societal ills.
