Traditionalist Tragedy

It's easy to miss among the tumult and confusion in the wake of the Eclipse of Mirrors, but a Traditionalist Gala ended in tragedy recently. A large celebration attended by only peers of old bloodlines and Very Strong Opinions upon neo-nobles and prodigals saw one of their own, the Baroness Rosa Conti, fall to her death in a tragic accident. Apparently falling from the highest window of Crymsen Manor in Arx, some peers were puzzled by the sheer distance the woman made before landing in the tragic fall, but figure she must have been running and accidentally slipped or some such.
Nor was that tragedy alone. Baron Pavel Whitesands' prized vessel 'the Scion of the Sands' never returned from a short night time trip to enjoy the Bay of Thrax and is presumed to be lost with all hands. It is rumored that other party guests were aboard, including the Lady Deianeira Manea, Lady Amarantha Manea, and Lady Emory Selter. Peers of proper traditionalist leanings are invited to the funeral services.
