Mother of Mercy Margrith, who had long served the Mercies of Lagoma, was discovered dead in her office during the afternoon a few days past. A hue and cry was raised, and word is that the new Mother Mercy and the Grandmaster of the Knights of Solace suspect foul play. The stories as to why are myriad - anything from poison to multiple stab wounds to a particularly incredolous rumour that states the Mother Mercy's head had been removed and placed upon her desk to greet the people entering.
