Description: Braided threads of golden hair crown this pale woman's head. The webwork of braids are asyemmtrical by design, skewed cocksure atop her head or absent from one side entirely, and are often unkempt. Despite the wild manner she wears her fair blonde locks, they're well-cleaned and never tangled, suggesting some order to the tumult. Her eyes are a frigid blue evocative of deep, chilling ice. Delicate, fine-boned features grant her a dignified appearance that, when contrast to her wild hair and cool gaze, skews toward the imperious. She stands at about five and a half feet tall, much of that height in her legs. Her figure is trim, save for the more pronounced contours at chest and hip, while her lean arms lack obvious strength. Intermittent scars, calluses, and poorly-healed burns etch the surface of her long and slender fingers.

Personality: Rosalynn is spirited and unafraid of quarreling when she believes she's right, especially when it comes to her work. That headstrong demeanor belies a wealth of compassion, mirth, and tact she more readily displays when not obliged to duty.

Background: Rosalynn was raised in a small village on the outskirts of Whitehold. At some point she was orphaned, though getting the details from her is a tricky matter, and at the age of eight she began to work as a scullery girl for an innkeeper's wife. By twelve, the innkeeper's own children were old enough to scrub and help with the cooking so Rosalynn was given the boot. For her hard work she was awarded squat, but a Halfshav peasant took pity on her and suggested her to the steward. She was brought in and found to be clean and well-behaved enough to serve the Halfshavs, at least, and was put to work in the kitchens anew. She's a hard worker and is eager to take on any responsibility that might prove she's earned her place as a servant for the nobility. Some suggest that this is more akin to ambition, something she's never denied, though she has yet to reach for anything that would be out of a commoner's grasp.
