Mock Epic Battle!

This event is a giant mock battle! Everyone is welcome to attend. Everyone who joins must choose one primary role and can choose another secondary role. The primary role is what they will mainly be doing in the battle and the secondary role is something they might do in a pinch. A secondary role does not need to be picked.

The possible roles are 1. Infantry Fighter. 2. Calvary Fighter 3. Long-Ranged Combatant 4. Military Leader (planing, leading and etc). 4. Healer. 5. Inspiration (inspiring or giving moral support to fighters). 6. Civilian (Civilians will be playing the role of non-combatants who might be captured or taken out in the cross fire and etc). 7. Audience. (The Audience is watching and will be uninvolved in the battle directly. It is considered against the rules to attack or capture the audience.)

People will be assigned teams. Reese will be running the battle, but will not be in it herself. People can bring up to 5 warriors of their faction and if they bring such they are responsible for leading them. People may wear any armor that they wish or own. All weapons must be standard steel only.

I have more rules, but they are too long to post. I will display the at the event itself. Please contact Reese with any questions or comments. Note: This event will be canceled in the event of a real military danger.

Reese arrives at the tournament grounds while adorned in her common cloth wools and toting her weapons. She has several Grayson soldiers with her, but then she does command their army. She glances over the grounds, getting a sense for who is gathered here.

Reese picks up Epic Mock Battle Rules Sign.

Lou has long been at the tournament grounds, milling about. She's in her leathers, has her bow, and her falchion hangs at her side. She smiles and waves at Reese as her sister enters the grounds, but she otherwise leaves her to set things up as needed.

Tiny Tom arrives, following Sparte.

Reese looks over to Lou, giving her a smile of greeting that touches her somber blue eyes. "Oh, Lou, it is good to see you." She says warmly to her sister. She glances over the tournament grounds and her cheeks warm with a pink hue for some reason or another. Maybe she realizes the event is poor attended. The blush stays as she packs away her sign. "Well, if we do this, we will need to change the rules." She says thoughtfully.

Kit, the grey fox, Brigid the Genet, Corban arrive, following Monique.

"And you," Lou replies easily enough, that smile of hers touching her eyes as she speaks to Reese. "I've come to join the event - working as an archer, if there's still room?" she double checks to make sure that not all of the spots have been filled yet. "And, secondarily, as a scout - if you intend to use those." She does glance around the grounds, frowning slightly as she notices only a handful of people. "Perhaps there are more on her way?" she suggests to Reese.

Giuseppe, a kindly old man arrives, following Luca.

Wash comes in with Titania in tow. He has the swagger of a man with nothing to lose and everything to gain. "Ho there Grayson. Is there a registry fee?" He wants to know. "And if so, can you spot me a bit of coin?"

Ian is already sitting up in the high booth, having turned up early, apparently. He's been watching the people mill around and set up for a while now.

Reese looks over to Lou, nodding in response to her words. "Oh, there is plenty of room."She says in her direction. "I am not sure if we are really using scouts in this setting. So wide out in the open, but in a real battle, well scouts matter so much." She murmurs and then adds to her. "Maybe." She then turns to Wash. "No fee, this is all free. I should have brought my booze.." She says, because drinking and fighting are a good mix, really.

Reese drops Epic Mock Battle Rules Sign.

Gino, a surly sailor arrives, following Antonio.

Sparte is a bit late, but late is better than never. He promised to be here as a substitute if anything happened to one of the planned participants, and even has a small book to read if he ends up sitting around a bunch.

Reese smiles over to Sparte, seemingly happy to see the Iron Guard.

"Good, good. Archery it is then." Lou seems satisfied to get into the thick of things, for a change. She gives a nod to Sparte as he comes in. "Hello Spart," she greets to the young boy. She then glances over at Wash and Monique, having never met them, her eyes curious.

Antonio wields one-handed steel axe with black iron wood handle.
