I would like to congratulate Princess Jaenelle Velenosa on hosting a very entertaining and unique dining experience. I had only sent in my name because I felt it would be a good way to meet people, or at least, make a new acquaintance with whomever I was paired with. In the span of the evening, I was introduced to not one, but two women -- one who is still a mystery to me.

Though the statements of the godsworn regarding the freedom to worship the Thirteenth God are beyond contestation, and need no support from a humble disciple, I think it useful to briefly provide a historical note.
The earliest extant appearance of the Thirteenth in the records of the Faith includes the god as member of the Pantheon, though the perception of the being's role has shifted in the many centuries since. At all times, and in all records, the Thirteenth has been considered a being of great power and deserving of respect.
Those who know my views and my theology know that I do not write this in an attempt to promote methods of worship other than those conforming to the Orthodoxy of the Oathlands, which of all traditions of the Faith continues to adhere most closely to our ancient customs and beliefs. However, one must be presented with truth to receive greater truth.

Relationship Note on Fredrik
I met the Lord Fredrik of Redtyde tonight at the Feast for the Senses, hosted by Princess Jaaenelle Velenosa. I was not sure what to be expecting from this meal, but I found myself to be enjoying myself greatly. The food was delicious and it was being a unique experience I am sure to not be forgetting anyime soon. I accidentally spilled the soup on the Lord, to which I felt so apologetic. He insisted it was his fault though. I look forward to a day I can be speaking with him more without a blindfold on. The accessory certainly does make the act of eating much more difficult, especially when you are meant to be feeding your companion. Thank you, Lord Fredrik, for sharing the experience with me, even if it was by pure happenstance.

The heart of Winter approaches and a grand Seliki tradition with it! A celebration of the year's trials and triumphs, tales, food, ales, the setting alight of a bonfire before pushing it from a cliff into the sea! All the makings of a fun endeavor! However with few such suitable cliffs in Arx, we may just have to get creative. Suggestions for what we may push burning off of what are most welcome.

Princess Jaenelle is quite the adept hostess, and I am delighted that I'll have a bunch of new recipes to try out in my own kitchen, to replicate or experiment with.
In addition, the company was delightful, and the food (as may be construed from the above) simply delicious. And while wearing blindfolds and feeding one's partner added... Unique challenges, especially with soup, I am pleased to call the evening a rousing success.

I do quite enjoy the horse I was gifted by Lord Gawain. He's an Oathlands Half-draft destrier, and a very beautiful animal. Unfortunately he's aware of this. Fortunately, as long as his ego is catered to, he behaves.

Relationship Note on Lyiana
Lyiana and her daughter have quickly become a very important part of my life, and I cherish the time I spend in their company. Fraiya wants to be a knight when she grows up. I've promised the girl to see her squired, and I will. She needs to come of a proper age for that first, though.
As for Lyiana, she's intoxicating and passionate and I could spend hours just listening to her talk.
