Apprehension and Death of Master Esra

As to be reported to the Compact: The search for a one, Master Esra, formerly but no longer of the Scholars of Vellichor, formerly but no longer of House Wyrmguard, is to be halted. Approximately three days ago Costas Voducce, loyal Sword of Southport, attempted a citizens arrest to apprehend the wanted fugitive. Unfortuntately, during this arrest Master Esra drew blade against Master Costas and his crew and in the course of the fight Master Esra was slayen by the Sword of Southport.
Both Costas Voducce and House Malvici recognize the error of what occured, and in honor of the concept of Justice have agreed to pay the necessary fines to the Crown and a donation to the Scholars of Vellichor and to seek penance before Sentinel to be announced by Legate Orazio.
The rule of law gives no heed to slander and libel, and thus Master Esra's words being false and misplaced, are to be stricken from the docket. All records as to his words will be claimed by the Inquisition and the Scholars of Vellichor.
If you have claims to be made. Bring them to the Inquisition. The public, their minds set to what will soon land upon our shores, does not have time for your cries when our foes are weeks from descending upon us.
Accordingly, this matter is settled.
