Prodigals and Refugees,
Recently some business went down around the city of Arx that some might describe as a 'witch hunt'. Others might call it 'necessary, forcible detention for the safety of the Compact'. Regardless, as the Deputy Minister representing this group of individuals that is joining our population, I want everyone to know that I was not aware that this operation was being planned and I am taking every step to assure that myself and my superiors are properly informed in the future so that the rights and respect that the Prodigals deserve will be properly considered moving forward.
There aren't many to champion the newest members of the Compact but *I* am one of them and as a commoner that has grown up at the bottom of society's heap of shit, I know how difficult and intimidating that uphill climb can be. If you have any questions, concerns, or needs in the wake of this trying Inquisition operation, please don't hesitate to write to myself (Magpie Grayhope) or my assistant (Mayir Grayhope) and I assure you we are fully committed to meet with you and hear you out fairly.
I also intend to contact our great and wonderful king to see what we can do to better protect this population moving forward.
