As I prepare to depart for several weeks to meet my vassals of House Blackshore, I wish to take the time to thank the Lady Ariel Darkwater, who soon will become the Marquessa of House Stonewood, for her valuable service to the family. As she is changing families, she will be stepping down from Voice, and House Darkwater looks forward to paying for her wedding. With Lady Ariel soon becoming a Stonewood, that prompts me to appoint a new voice, the experienced and capable woman who advised Count Draevor for years- my mother, Lady Venta Darkwater. Any Darkwater matters can be seen to in my absence by the able hands of Voices Lady Venta Darkwater and Lady Carita Darkwater.
