Velenosa and the Lyceum

People of the Compact,
For many years, I worked alongside my wife to make the Lyceum what it is today. And when my wife was taken from me, I was burdened with grief, but I was proud to see how my daughter Esera stepped up. How she pushed through her own grief, in order to continue the work her mother started.
Now, my daughter is gone too. Taken from me, just like her mother was.
She was respected, and loved. She dreamed of a united Lyceum and worked to make it such. With her gone, Princess Isolde has deferred to me to step up once more and lead House Velenosa and the Lyceum through these dark times.
I will do so, and just like Esera, I will push through my grief. I will assume the mantle of Archduke of Lenosia and Grand Duke of the Lyceum. I will continue the work Grand Duchess Carlotta and I started. When the time comes, a child of Princess Isolde, raised in House Velenosa, will rightfully and properly inherit the title and the responsibility that comes with it.
We live during very uncertain times, but I firmly believe that if we stand together against the enemies of the Lyceum and the Compact, we will prevail. We will succeed.
