Description: A broad shouldered figure packed with sturdy muscle made up Ashkyr's sturdy frame, a frame that was originally built and used aboard a ship. His hands were rough to the touch, calloused heavily from a lifetime of hoisting sails, and kept in their condition by his martial craft. Dark brown hair crowned his scar-less features, the most prominent of which were his strong jaw, high cheekbones, and a nose that had clearly been broken more than a few times. Overall, he was handsome in a rugged sense, and looked capable of defending himself in melee combat, no matter the weapon.

Personality: An ambitious and adaptable young man seeking to restore his lineage's name alongside his brother after playing a part in tarnishing the family name. Carrying himself confidently, he was rather amiable when approached despite his weathered exterior. Diligence was his watchword, his knightly vows taken rather seriously, and his sincerity and reliability knew few limits to those he'd considered a friend.

Background: Likely an unknown man from Southport save for those knowledgeable in seafaring, Ashkyr was the younger brother of Aerandir, and his second in command aboard the Lusty Mermaid - a naval vessel under House Grayson that frequented many harbors throughout its decades of service. Rumor has it after a colossal failure by the brothers, the Lusty Mermaid was sank during a voyage through Darkwater Reach, along with the civilian ship it was escorting. Both crews were lost in the slaughter, the only survivors being the familial pair. Despite the failure, historic service by their family saw their lives spared, although their careers ended. He now roams the lands as a Crownsworn, much like his brother, and works tirelessly to not only find his way in this world, but restore his family's name.

Name Summary
Aerandir The city air seems to be doing my darling brother some good, health and brightness clearly upon his cheeks, or perhaps he's more vulnerable to the mainland winds than I had anticipated. He appears to be in good spirits all the same, the very same dutiful brother I recall from our countless voyages in the Saffron Chain.
Cirroch One half of a pair of brotherly knights. I did not get to know him well, but Gwenna seems to like him, and I trust her judgement.
